Tom and his crew did fantastic work. We had a master bath, florida room and indoor porch added onto our home. The crews were on time and tidy. They were also very knowledgeable about what needed to be done. There were a couple minor hiccups, but I don't know a project that doesn't. They were promptly resolved. The tile work in the master bath was outstanding. Thanks for the great work!

We hired Tom to complete an addition/renovation project for us and are extremely happy with the results. We have a disabled child so built a first floor accessible bedroom suite to accommodate his care. The project also involved renovating existing space including removing a load-bearing wall, and adding a new deck. I was impressed with Tom from the first encounter. I had about 15 different contractors quote the project and Tom spent the most time looking at the project, taking measurements, and asking detailed questions others did not. When I told him what I did for work he then dropped three names of colleagues of mine that he had done work for and they all had very positive things to say about him when I asked. He put together a detailed and transparent quote and had a very competitive price. Tom was at the house daily throughout the project and was very attentive to detail ensuring everything was done with high quality craftsmanship. He was flexible when we wanted to make changes or additions, and fair and transparent in his pricing providing quotes from his vendors. He was responsive throughout via phone/text/email. All his workers, whether those he directly employs or subcontractors, were professional and respectful and we felt comfortable having them in our house. The final product turned out great and we couldn't be happier. Several of our neighbors have already had him complete projects for them as well. We definitely plan on using him again for our next project!

I would highly recommend Tom Stafford and his team of craftsmen at Stafford and Son Builders. I was given a calendar that outlined the work over about 6 weeks. Toms and his team were able to stick to it and even finish some items a few days early. All this was done over the thanksgiving and Christmas holidays this past winter (2019) and they stuck to the schedule. This was a complete "gutting" of a really outdated kitchen, removal of a wall, countertops, flooring, the whole 9 yards. His crew cleaned up after themselves after each day and made as little impact on my family and I throughout the process. We are very happy with the finished product and would highly recommend.

It's clearly obvious that Tom is a high level pro and knows how to skillfully juggle many projects simultaneously, keep to schedule, and quickly handle (the inevitable) unforeseen issues that come up during the remodeling process. They did an outstanding job and we are more than happy with our 'new' home!

Tom was the epitome of professionalism. We had a major job of removing all Chinese drywall throughout the house and replacing all major systems, flooring, plumbing and electrical. This is the 2nd time we have used Tom Stafford and his crew for renovations. The redid our 2nd floor 3.5 years ago (review for that also on Angie's List). This time we needed a lot of other things done to prep the house for sale. As usual, they did a spectacular job. Could not be happier with responsiveness and quality of work. We will definitely be using again on our new house!!

Tom and his crew showed up when scheduled even when I had a hard time giving him a date. They were there every day as scheduled, finished on tome, Helped with difficult decisions. Tile work was perfect. Tom was personally involved with all aspects of the job and checked the work before and after, found minor things that even I didn't find and corrected them. Tom even repaired my front door lock after completion because he didn't like the way it worked. I highly recommend his company to anyone.

I highly recommend Stafford and Son Builders! They built a new addition on the back of our house, as well as a new deck off to the side of the addition (with two entry points--the addition and the existing house structure). We got 3 estimates before doing our renovation. Tom gave us the most detailed proposal, and was able to walk us through each expected expense. We got the feeling Tom was the best person and company to go with, and we were right! Tom is knowledgeable, honest, and responsive. He checked in on the progress of the addition daily, and always answered his phone when I called. He was very good about asking us questions, giving us the necessary time to answer (like choosing doors/windows/floors etc), and guiding us as needed. The entire process was very smooth, organized, and was completed on time. All of the people Tom uses are great, respond quickly, and do quality work. Stafford and Son is highly, highly recommended! If you're doing any home remodeling or renovations, definitely give Tom a call!
